Jasmine Forsberg to Return to SIX: The Musical on Broadway as Jane Seymour

Jasmine Forsberg returns to the role of Jane Seymour in Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’s Tony-winning SIX: The Musical on Broadway beginning February 16. She joins previously announced 2026 cast members Dylan Mulvaney, Abigail Barlow, Adrianna Hicks, Anna Uzele and Olivia Donalson. Kelsie Watts will play her final performance as Jane Seymour with the rest of the current cast on February 15.

Forsberg previously starred as Jane Seymour in the 2024 Broadway cast of SIX and in the first national tour. Her other Broadway credits include Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends and Here Lies Love.

From Tudor queens to pop icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st century girl power in SIX: The Musical.

The national tour of SIX is currently playing cities throughout the U.S. The production is also currently playing at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End, on tour in the U.K. and Ireland, and in cities throughout Europe.

Every night is about to be One Night in Bangkok. The new Broadway production of Chess is set to record an official Broadway cast album on January 26, 2026. A release date for the album will be announced shortly.

Bust Out the Tissues! Tickets Are Now on Sale for Beaches, A New Musical

Tickets are now on sale for Beaches, A New Musical, which will make its long-awaited Broadway debut at the Majestic Theatre this spring. Based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Iris Rainer Dart that inspired the beloved film, the Broadway premiere will star Jessica Vosk and Kelli Barrett as best friends Cee Cee and Bertie, respectively. The limited New York engagement will launch the show’s multi-city national tour. Performances begin March 27, with opening night set for April 22. The musical will run through September 6, 2026.

Co-directed by Tony nominee and Emmy winner Lonny Price and Matt Cowart, the musical features a score by Grammy winner Mike Stoller, lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart and a book by Dart and Thom Thomas. The musical was developed in collaboration with David Austin. Choreography is by Jennifer Rias, with orchestrations by Tony winner Charlie Rosen. Scenic design is by James Noone, costume design by Tracy Christensen, lighting design by Tony winner Ken Billington, sound design by Tony winner Kai Harada, projection design by Tony nominee David Bengali and wig, hair and makeup design by J. M. Kilgore Joins Chicago as Mary Sunshine; Greg Hildreth to Return as Amos Hart

On February 2, Broadway's Chicago will welcome M. Kilgore to the cast as Mary Sunshine, along with new ensemble members Austin Dunn, Danielle Marie Gonzalez, Christopher Kelley and Jeff Sullivan. Also returning to the cell block at that same performance are Greg Hildreth as Amos Hart and ensemble members Tia Altinay and Chelsea James.

Hildreth most recently appeared on Broadway in The Queen of Versailles, and previously played Amos Hart in Chicago from January–June of 2025. Kilgore previously appeared on Broadway in Motown The Musical and the 2009 revival of Hair and onscreen in Jesus Christ Superstar Live! and The Wiz Live!.

In previously announced casting news, Sophie Carmen-Jones returns to the role of Velma Kelly and Jacqueline B. Arnold to the role of Matron "Mama" Morton on January 26. Whitney Leavitt will star as Roxie Hart from February 2 through March 15.

Jeremy Jordan to Take Over the Role of Bobby Darin in Just In Time on Broadway

Jeremy Jordan will take over the role of Bobby Darin in the biomusical Just In Time on Broadway. His first performance at the Circle In The Square Theatre will be on April 21, 2026. He replaces Tony winner Jonathan Groff, who plays his final performance on March 29, 2026.

Jordan earned a Tony nomination in 2012 for his breakout role as Jack Kelly in Disney’s Newsies The Musical. Most recently, he originated the role of Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby on Broadway in 2024, earned a 2025 Tony nomination for playing the title role in Floyd Collins and subsequently returned to Gatsby, where he is currently starring through March 7. Jordan's other Broadway credits include West Side Story, Rock of Ages, Bonnie & Clyde, Waitress and American Son, as well as Little Shop of Horrors off-Broadway. John Ortiz (Anna in the Tropics), three-time Tony nominee Jessica Hecht (Eureka Day; Summer, 1976; A View From the Bridge) and Spencer Garrett (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) will join Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway as Detective Ferrara, Colleen and Sheldon, respectively. Garrett makes his Broadway debut in the production. As previously announced, Bernthal will play Sonny Amato and Moss-Bachrach will play Sal DeSilva.

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by two-time Olivier Award winner Rupert Goold, Dog Day Afternoon is inspired by the actual events that captivated audiences in the Oscar-winning 1975 film.

When Cats: The Jellicle Ball announced its Broadway transfer to the Broadhurst Theatre, many wondered how the immersive staging of the off-Broadway production would translate to a proscenium-style venue. Fans needn’t speculate anymore, as it has been announced that The Jellice Ball will offer immersive seating for audience members who want to get up close and personal with the performers during the Ballroom extravaganza. The special runway seats will be on either side of the catwalk where the Jellicle crew strut their stuff. With Masquerade and the recent Sunset Boulevard revamp, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s catalog has proved itself to be ripe for high-concept revivals. The Tony winning comedy Oh, Mary! is taking its act on the road. Cole Escola’s farcical masterclass will play select cities across the U.S. beginning in the fall of 2026. Oh, Mary! is set to launch its tour at The Bushnell in Hartford, Connecticut, with subsequent stops in Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Engagement details, additional cities, casting and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

Unapologetically divorced from history, Oh, Mary! frames Mary Todd Lincoln as an aspiring cabaret singer desperate to escape the clutches of her POTUS husband. Sam Pinkleton won a Tony for directing the production, while writer and original lead Escola won for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play.

The Broadway production currently stars Jinkx Monsoon, before Hedwig and the Angry Inch auteur John Cameron Mitchell seizes the First Lady’s bratty curls on February 3. Oh, Mary! is also playing in London’s West End, starring Mason Alexander Park.

Mark Consuelos, Tracee Chimo, Christopher Fitzgerald and Aasif Mandvi Join Fallen Angels Broadway Cast

The new Broadway production of Noël Coward’s Fallen Angels announced its complete cast and design team. As previously reported, Tony winner Kelli O’Hara and Golden Globe winner Rose Byrne will star as Julia Sterroll and Jane Banbury, respectively. Scott Ellis will direct. Joining the cast are Mark Consuelos, making his Broadway debut as Maurice Duclos; Tracee Chimo as Saunders; Christopher Fitzgerald as Willy Banbury and Aasif Mandvi as Fred Sterroll.

The creative team includes set design by David Rockwell, costume design by Jeff Mahshie, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and sound design by John Gromada. Performances begin March 27, with opening night set for April 19. The limited engagement runs through June 7 at the Todd Haimes Theatre.

Consuelos has appeared off-Broadway in the New York premiere of Stuart Ross’ production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays, Boy’s Life, Orphans and An Oak Tree.

Chimo’s Broadway credits include Noises Off, The Heidi Chronicles, Harvey and Irena's Vow. Her performance as Daphne in Bad Jews off-Broadway won her the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Awards for Lead Actress.

The cast and creative team for Mexodus are calling for a loopback. After a twice-extended run at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre last fall, the timely musical will return to New York for a 10-week limited engagement at the Daryl Roth Theatre. Performances will run from March 6 to May 17. Written and performed by Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson, Mexodus uses live-looping to tell the untold story of how the Underground Railroad ran south by crossing the Rio Grande into Mexico. A recording of the show will be released as an Audible Original on June 18.

In a joint statment, Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson said: “The energy and enthusiasm audiences brought to Mexodus last fall was CRAZY and we can’t wait to bring it back to New York. In every performance, we start with a chaotic assortment of instruments and, through looping, create something much bigger than ourselves. Chicago to Welcome Sophie Carmen-Jones and Jacqueline B. Arnold Back to Broadway

Chicago on Broadway will welcome back Sophie Carmen-Jones in the role of Velma Kelly and Jacqueline B. Arnold in the role of Matron "Mama" Morton beginning January 26 at the Ambassador Theatre. As previously announced, Robyn Hurder's most recent run in the role of Velma Kelly was from December 15–January 11.

Carmen-Jones' other Broadway credits include Nini in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. She also played Nini in the original West End cast and portrayed Velma Kelly in the U.K. tour of Chicago. Arnold’s Broadway credits include Anita in Smash and the original Broadway casts of Moulin Rouge! and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. She previously played the role of Mama Morton on Broadway from August 11–September 14, 2025.

Beginning February 16, SIX: The Musical will crown a new set of queens. Dylan Mulvaney and Abigail Barlow will make their Broadway debuts in the roles of Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard, respectively. Returning from the original Broadway cast of SIX are Adrianna Hicks as Catherine of Aragon and Anna Uzele as Catherine Parr. Returning from the 2024 Broadway cast and North American tour of SIX is Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves. New casting for the role of Jane Seymour (currently played by Kelsie Watts) has yet to be announced.

Current alternates Aryn Bohannon, Sierra Fermin, Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert and Aiyana Smash will continue in their respective roles. The current Broadway on-stage cast members will play their final performance on February 15.

Mulvaney is an actress, comedian and New York Times bestselling author who is best known for her viral Days of Girlhood series. Director Marc Bruni on Reeve Carney & Eva Noblezada in The Great Gatsby: 'A Delicious Pairing'

Eva Noblezada, who originated the role of Daisy Buchanan in Broadway’s Jazz Age hit The Great Gatsby, will return to the show on February 5. On March 30, Noblezada’s real-life husband Reeve Carney will take on the title role. In the interim, Noblezada will reteam with her original leading man, Jeremy Jordan, followed by Ryan McCartan, who will succeed Jordan in the role from March 8–29. Director Marc Bruni chatted with Broadway.com Managing Editor Beth Stevens about the buzzy casting developments.

“The gorgeous, the talented, the 'justice for altos' champion Eva Noblezada will be here while Jeremy is still here.
