"O Mary is not for someone wanting a typical Broadway comedy. It’s outrageous , silly and irreverent - but a ton of fun if you don’t take life too seriously. If you do - stay home! I loved it. "

Phenomenal
"The acting was superb. The writing was great. There were moments I did not see coming, and everyone knows this story. Does it play a little fast and use with history? Of course it does! Tarantino does that too. It gives the agency back to someone who lost their agency 150 years ago."

"My 64-year-old dad was shaking with laughter, my 24-year-old brother said it was the most perfect, well-executed comedy he’s ever seen, and my English cousins we just trying to figure out who John Wilkes Booth was. Truly the most hilarious and fun night ever. Jane Krakowski killed it. Would see it again and again and again and again…"

About
Oh, Mary!
Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola).
Declared “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times, Oh, Mary! received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play (Cole Escola) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton), Drama League Awards for Outstanding Play and Outstanding Direction of a Play, as well as a special citation from the New York Drama Critics’ Circle. It was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
