"This musical had a little bit of everything -- humor, heartache, and insightfulness. The talent was incredible, with breathtaking moments as some of the singers absolutely killed it.
The dancing was great, though more variety in the choreography would have been good. And, while the storyline is one we have heard before, the telling of the story was entertaining.

Hell’s Kitchen: An interpretation of musical genius
"My husband and I were visiting NYC from Atlanta. We wanted to see a broadway show and decided to see Hell’s Kitchen. So glad we did. The choreography was superb and age appropriate for the audience. However, I felt some scenes were more appropriate for older teenagers.
To Note: Each performer was on top of their game where they brought emotionally to their character. We especially enjoyed the performances of (Gospel Royalty) Yolanda Adams and (R&B legend) Ne-Yo. What a treat!!! If we had more time, we would definitely see it again. This play is a must see for those who can relate to the culture and musical appreciation of its time. "
